This Privacy Policy explains how IAKIT ("we," "us," or "our") collects and uses your information when you join our waitlist at iakit.app (the "Site"). IAKIT is currently operated as a sole proprietorship by Juan Florez.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect only what you provide in the form:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your role (for example: freelancer, in-house, or studio)
The signature you draw on the confirmation badge is a visual gesture only. It is not transmitted, saved, or stored anywhere — it stays in your browser and disappears when you leave the page.
Why we collect it
We use your information solely to:
- Manage the early-access waitlist
- Notify you when IAKIT becomes available
- Send occasional updates about the product's progress
We do not sell, rent, or share your information for advertising, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond those listed above.
Who has access to it
We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the waitlist. They process your data only on our behalf:
- Supabase — stores the waitlist database
- Resend — sends our confirmation and update emails
- Vercel — hosts the website
How long we keep it
We keep your information until IAKIT launches and you become a user, or until you ask us to remove you — whichever comes first. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
Your choices and rights
You can request to access, correct, or delete your information at any time by emailing us at privacy@iakit.app. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR (EU/UK) or CCPA (California), including the right to access or delete your data. We honor these requests for all users.
Cookies
The waitlist page uses only essential functionality and does not set advertising or tracking cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as IAKIT develops. When we do, we'll revise the "last updated" date above.
